Standard Affymetrix protocol. An in vitro transcription (IVT) with biotinylated ribonucleotide analog was performed to generate biotin-labeled amplified RNA (aRNA) using the GeneChip 3' IVT Express kit (Affymetrix, Santa Clara, CA). The aRNAs were then purified by magnetic beads and fragmented for the subsequent hybridization according to the manufacturer's protocol.
