Extraction of exosome RNA from yak and Jersey cattle-yak in June and December with reference to the instructions of Norgen 58000 kit.
The experimental procedure was performed according to the standard steps provided by Illumina, including library preparation and sequencing experiments. Small RNA sequencing libraries were prepared using the TruSeq Small RNA Sample PrepKits (Illumina, San Diego, USA) kit. After library preparation, the constructed libraries were sequenced using Illumina instrument with a single-end 1X50bp read length.

| Data processing |
Clean reads were obtained from the raw data after quality control processing. The 3' adaptors were removed from the clean reads, and the length was screened to retain the sequence with a base length of 18-26nt.
the remaining sequences are aligned with various RNA database sequences (excluding miRNAs), such as mRNA database, Rfam database (including rRNA, tRNA, snRNA, snoRNA, etc.) and RepBase database, and filtered.
the data obtained is effective data, which can be used for subsequent small RNA data analysis.
