Title |
HIV/HCV coinfected patient 1 at followup |
Sample type |
RNA |
|
|
Source name |
Periperal blood mononuclear cells from an HIV/HCV coinfected patient after 24 weeks of combination antiretroviral therapy
|
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Characteristics |
tissue: Peripheral blood mononuclear cells treatment: Combination antiretroviral therapy timepoint: 24 weeks
|
Treatment protocol |
Combined antiretroviral therapy for 24 weeks
|
Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were isolated by Ficoll-Hypaque density gradient centrifugation and were either used immediately or cryoperserved in cell-freezing medium. RNA was extracted using Qiagen's Rneasy Mini Kit spin-column technology.

Description |
Gene expression data from peripheral blood mononuclear cells of HIV/HCV infected patient after 24 weeks of combination antiretroviral therapy
|
Data processing |
Microarray quality was examined using the Affymetrix Expression Console Program. CEL files were analyzed using the RMA noralization and expression level quantitation algorithm. Probesets were filtered to identify those with absolute expression at RMA>=5.5 in at least 2 samples. Differential expression was based on treated versus baseline per patient using Benjamini Hochberg corrected p<0.05.
