Title |
Cellular response to hepatitis E virus (HEV) infection |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
What happens in cells infected with HEV is largely unknown. We used a recently established genotype 3 HEV cell culture system and profiled the host responses by RNA-seq.

Overall design |
HepG2/C3A cells either inoculated with HEV (kernow C1 P6 strain) or not inoculated (mock) were cultured for 5 days. Total RNA were extracted and subjected RNA Seq. Differentially expressed genes between mock and infected groups were analyzed by DESeq2.
