Summary |
The objective of this study was to better understand the immune response to RSV at the port of entry, in the upper respiratory tract mucosa of children naturally infected with RSV.

Overall design |
For the present study, we collected Nasal wash samples from a total of 76 naturally infected RSV infants within 48 hours of hospital admission and 10 healthy controls. After sample collected, samples were process and RNA was extracted for further microarray hybridization.
