Title Developmental effects of neonatal exposure to NOAEL-dose of neonicotinoid clothianidin on the gene expression profiles of hippocampus in male mice
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary The mechanisms of developmental neurotoxicity of neonicotinoid pesticides were not fully understood.
We examined the effects of neonatal exposure to a neonicotinoid pesticide, clothianidin (CLO) on gene expression profiles of the hippocampus in male mice at 3 or 10 weeks of age.

Overall design Dams were orally administrated no-observed adverse effect level (NOAEL; 65 mg/kg/day) of CLO or vehicle during postnatal day 1 to 4.
