Title |
MCF7 cells with LIFR knockdown |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
MCF7 cells were infected with lentiviral particles containing LIFR-targeted shRNAs then chemically selected to create a stable pooled population of shLIFR MCF7 cells. The goal of the study was to determine the downstream targets of LIFR in human MCF7 breast cancer cells.

Overall design |
There are three biological replicates of the control MCF7 cells expressing non-silencing control shRNAs, and three biological replicates of the MCF7 cells expressing LIFR shRNAs. Each biological replicate was collected from independent experiments and all cells were grown in standard 2D tissue culture plates.
