Title |
RNA-seq for DIMT1 wild-type and E85A mutant overexpression in DIMT1 heterozygous knockout HEK cells |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Dimethyladenosine transferase 1 (DIMT1), an 18S rRNA N6,6-dimethyladenosine (m26,6A) methyltransferase, participates in ribosome assembly. However, whether the catalytic activity is of importance in ribosome assembly and other cellular processes are not fully understood. To better understand the role of DIMT1 catalysis in gene regulation and cellular function, we performed RNA-seq with purified poly(A)-RNA from DIMT1+/- + wild type cells and +E85A variant cells.
