Gene expression profiling in the heart following exposure of rats to heat acclimation, its loss and re-induction.

(Submitter supplied) To understand faster reinduction of heat acclimation, in this investigation we studied global stress associated genomic response during acclimation, following its loss and re-induction. Nylon cDNA Atlas Array was used. Vitamin E deficiency effect on distal colon

Expression profiling of distal colons from 8 Hooded Lister males fed a vitamin E deficient diet for 12 weeks. Vitamin E deficiency is associated with inflammatory bowel disease and colon cancer. Results provide insight into the contribution of vitamin E deficiency to colon pathologies.
