Based on the US-based National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines [NCCN 2019]

If only small adenoma burden (<20 adenomas, <1 cm, and none with advanced histology [NCCN 2019]), colonoscopy can be used to effectively eliminate polyps.

Consider chromoendoscopy, which showed improved diagnostic yield in a recent study [Hurley et al 2018].
