Neonates (newborns), infants and all children up to their 18th birthday with chronic constipation

  • Hypothyroidism or underactive thyroid or congenital hypothyroidism or cretinism or acquired hypothyroidism
  • Thyroid function tests
  • Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) or TSH test
  • Thyroxine (T4) or serum Thyroxine (T4) or T4 test or total T4 or free thyroxine (fT4)
  • Triiodothyronine (T3) or serum Triiodothyronine (T3) or total T3 or T3 test or free triiodothyronine (fT3)
