What is the size of the insertion/deletion polymorphisms included in dbSNP?
Insertion/deletion polymorphisms (in/del(s)) housed in dbSNP range from one base pair to several thousand base pairs. We do not provide the sequences for some of the larger in/dels, however, because they are detected by RFLP.
