GST Defined

NCBI Genome Workbench (Gbench) is an integrated application that allows you to access, view, and analyze your own data in the context of public sequence data. Using Gbench, you can align your private data against data from NCBI publicly available databases. This allows you to display any data in the context of public data.

Gbench can display sequence data in many ways, including graphical sequence views, various alignment views, phylogenetic tree views, and tabular data views.

The GST are utilities completely integrated into the Gbench program that allow you to view and analyze SNP data using Gbench applications. GST became a new feature of Gbench in the spring of 2008. (04/23/08)
